What's New?

Last weekend we spent the weekend with our dear friends, Jay, Tara and 4 month old Wallace. We had a great time despite Mac nailing his forehead on their kitchen table, immediately bruising and swelling. Michael referred to him as a "unicorn" as the goose egg was so massive (it's still there too, but the bruising looks much better). Mac loved Wallace. He was constantly saying,"baby" and pulling me to where Wallace was so he could see him. He tried to give him toys, patted him on the back when he was crying and liked to give him kisses and wipe his drool (which he would then wipe on me). Thanks for a great weekend, Jay, Tara, and Wallace!

Mac's new thing is to hold your hand. He will hold out his hand, wait for you to give him your hand, and just hold it for a minute or two. It is too cute. His teacher said that he was hugging everyone on Tuesday and holding everyone's hands, even the 2 and 3 year olds, while playing outside.

The weather was so great on Wednesday that we went to the park and then went for ice cream (which didn't even spoil his dinner). He tried to hold hands with other kids at the park and had a great time feeding Aunt Kelsey her ice cream.

Michael and I are leaving this weekend so Mac will be spending quality time with "Ba-pa" and "Man-ma" (my parents).

As you can tell, I have been very bad with the camera lately. I'll get a picture on Friday as Mac will be 17 months old!
