Flu Shot

Today, I had to get my flu shot. I was telling Mac before hand what we were going to do. His response was this. "Don't worry, Mommy. I will be right behind you. I promise." He meant beside me, not behind me. When it was actually time for my shot, he held my hand for about 2 seconds and then sat in a chair adjacent to me so that he could see me get the shot instead. When it was over he said, "Mommy, did it hurt?" When I told him that it did, he responded, "Mommy, you didn't even cry. I'm so proud of you!"
