House Hunting

I don't have any pictures to post, but do have some news on finding a house.

Last week, the boys and I traveled with Michael and joined him in his hotel stay for 5 LONG nights. Thankfully, we had a suite and put the boys in the living room, but they didn't sleep well. Talk about some sleep deprivation! The first night was the worst as Mac was up several times and Gavin was up every 2 hours. AGGHHH!!!!!!!! Each night got better than the night before. All that being said, Mac was quite the trooper. We lined up a sitter for Gavin for 3 of our 4 house hunting days. Mac saw over 40 houses in 4 days with me! He deserves a serious reward after all that. I guess you could say that Michael and I are very particular about what we want when it comes to a new home.

We did end up finding one that we both liked and would work for us. As of today, Thursday, February 12th, we finally sealed the deal and we have a new home. We close the end of March.

Our current home is STILL for sale. However, our realtor called us Monday morning letting us know that someone called her to ask if we would be interested in renting it. We said, "YES!!!!!" I'm always amazed at how small of a world it really is and how good the Lord is! I know the family of the family that wants to rent our home. She came to look at our house to make sure it would work for her brother-in-law and his family. They want to sign a 1 year lease. Now our next prayer is that they would end up liking it and buy it from us. We are currently trying to decide on a rental property management company. It is never ending at our house! We are very excited!
