Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EE)

This is Gavin's new diagnosis. He went to the Pediatric GI Doc yesterday afternoon. He is scheduled for an endoscopy with esophageal biopsies for the end of the month. Until then he has to be on a strict diet of absolutely NO: cantaloupe, peas, rice, peanuts, corn, and eggs. Most of these will be easy to avoid, corn and eggs will be a bit more tricky. The doctor would also like for him to avoid milk and soy...yikes! At least we have several grocery stores near our house that can help us with his new diet.
