Gavin's B-Day Campout!

Well, Gavin got potty trained, so we had to make good on our promise. We had a campout Sunday night, the night before his birthday. We did it up right with cooking hot dogs and marshmallows over the fire. It had rained a good bit a few days before, so our logs were still a bit wet. Our fire was smoking like crazy. We were having too much fun to notice until our neighbors came out and said they almost called the fire department. Then, another neighbor came over to see who was causing a neighborhood smokeout. :) Grandpa Ed joined us for Gavin's birthday this year. He did not sleep in the tent with us, but enjoyed the pre-tent festivities.

The one shoed wonder was roasting his own marshmallows (with a little help from mom).
