We had a great weekend. We did lots of furniture shopping and Mac was quite the trooper. He enjoyed playing on the furniture and left some slobber on a few pieces (whoops!). The big news to report is that Mac has now added "ma-ma" to his ever expanding vocabulary. He has already been saying "da-da", "ba-ba", "la-la", "ga-ga", "na-na", and "ya-ya", just to name a few. I have also been disgruntled that he will not clap. I work with him on it every day. However, to make up for not clapping, he is pointing. He loves to point at me and at everything in books. Way to go Mac on the fine motor aspect of development (can you tell his mother is an OT?)! He is still army (or commando) crawling. He does not want to get his belly off the floor. He is crawling over many obstacles and is attempting to pull up on everything. He is quite the busy boy!
