We trimmed our tree a few weekends ago. My wonderful husband took on the daunting task of putting on all the lights. That is one thing I truly despise. I offered to assist but he turned me down. Needless to say, I wasn't too upset by that.
We give each other a new ornament every year. This year Mac recieved a triceratops ornament. He has a fascination with dinosaurs and he loves his new ornament. It is made from cinnamon and smells nice. He likes for us to smell it and it talks to us. We love his imagination!
Every ornament we pulled out was like a Christmas surprise for Mac. We heard, "Wow, that is so cool!" and "Wow, that is so awesome!" more times than we can count. He had a good time playing with each and every ornament. He even was a good helper with putting them on the tree.
Gavin napped through most of the tree trimming excitement, but was able to join in at the end.
