Here we are on Saturday dying our Easter eggs.
We made Easter Story Cookies/Tomb Cookies the night before. Each ingredient was a symbol and there was scripture for each ingredient and steps to make the cookies, which represented Jesus' tomb. On Easter morning you pull the cookies out of the oven and they are hollow/empty, just like Jesus' tomb. Mac really enjoyed this and had a better understanding of Easter because of this activity.
The boys are putting together the dinosaur puzzle Grandmama got for Mac for Easter.
First, check out Mac's outfit....he picked it out. At least the shirt and pants go together, but the hat.....what a goof! The Easter bunny visited our house during nap time and hid eggs in the front. This year there was money in them! Don't worry, we aren't setting any precedent, only one coin in each.
