Last Friday, Mac had the day off from school, so Daddy took the day off work and we went on a family field trip. We went to the Happy Cow Dairy. We learned a lot of useless knowledge about cows and grass, but we enjoyed ourselves. We also ran into some friends of ours, Brian and Rose, and their little girl, Annabelle.
A herd of cows walked right past the tractor and trailor we were riding on. This picture doesn't do it justice as it was rather comical to see these poor cows walking with bulging udders. (We found out later that the cows are milked 2 times a day and the average cow produces 75 pounds of milk per milking...whoa!) Here is a Macism for you. This is what he said when we saw the back side of the cows as they walked past us: "They look like Gavin when he has a droopy diaper."
Here the boys are taking a break while Mommy and Daddy decide what to puchase from the store. We came home with buttermilk, buffalo wing cheese, salsa and honey.
