I always wish I could get inside my boys' heads to know what is going on in there. The other day the boys and I are on a walk and Mac turns to me and says, "Mommy, you were more beautiful with your longer hair." I had just cut off a few inches a few days before, nothing drastic, just a bit different. I then respond with, "Just because Mommy's hair is different should not make me any different. So now I'm not beautiful at all?" He then says, "Now you're just a little bit beautiful."
What do you do?!
Then I went on to tell him that luckily hair grows back and that the inside of people is what really matters.
